we played a show at the buffalo bar the other night with marques toliver, lovely crowd and atmosphere and great to hear marques play again. when i was looking for a photo i found he’d written a little blogpost about the night here.
he was on jools holland a little while ago too, i think he’s one of the first unsigned people to be on it..video after the jump

we’ve been getting some nice attention over the last week or so, particularly on the radio. b of the bang got played on john kennedy’s xfm show a couple of weeks back, and was played on radio one and radio two this weekend. think it was played by rob da bank and steve lamaq on radio 1, not sure who put it on radio 2. you can have a look at the rob da bank playlist here.
also, from a little while ago, here’s an nme piece on the communion series at the flowerpot. i think the recordings from that are coming out before too long…not sure how legible this’ll be on here but we’re in the cast list and the last para.

spent last night stamping. you can swag one of these at the launch show on the 7th, or from the 13th from some record shops (rough trade will have a few i think) and on the communion website. you can download the ep from the website too from the 13th..
